Camp Rules:
- Campers must dress in 1640-1839 attire at all times and camp in shelters of that period.
- Current Market Fair medallion must be visible on your
person at all times.
- No animals: horses, mules, dogs, cats, or other pets.
- No flammable liquids, such as propane, kerosene or Coleman lanterns/stoves
are permitted.
- Cameras and video equipment are allowed, but must be kept covered
except when taking photos/videos.
NO flash or lighting equipment. If you want photos from
around the fire at night please use higher speed films.
- No rubber soled shoes or moccasins. No cowboy boots.
- No shorts or halter tops.
- No wristwatches, modern sunglasses or modern jewelry. "Photogrey" or
sunglasses must be prescription.
- No loaded firearms in camp except on the range under the
direction of our range officer(s).
- No modern firearms allowed (except by visiting law
enforcement personnel).
- Hawk and knife throwing and bow and arrow use in designated areas only.
- No bull whips of any kind.
- Children under age 15 must be under adult supervision when handling firearms or
edged weapons, or when they are within five feet (5') of the pond.
- Campers must remove their vehicles from camp within
1 hour after entering camp.
- Burlap bags or period containers MUST be used to
transport ice or modern items through camp. They won't even
sell you ice unless you have such a container to put it in.
- Thievery, poaching, or fighting will not be tolerated. Violators will be
escorted from camp, and/or proper authorities will be
contacted.
- Excessive noise will not be tolerated. We want you to enjoy yourself,
but consideration of your neighbors and the camp goes a long way
toward assuring that everyone enjoys themselves.
- No hoarding of wood. Please do not haul wood from the camp pile(s) in your
auto, truck or trailer.
- Trash disposal will be at a designated location. ALL individuals, including sutlers,
are expected to carry their trash bags to the
provided trash dumpster.
- The sale or trading of black powder on site is strictly
forbidden by PA law.
